Senior CAADP Advisor

Panduleni Elagio is a Senior CAADP Advisor in Agriculture Development activities at the African Union Commission, under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is responsible for providing technical support to Regional Economic Communities (RECs), Member States and Development Partners in planning, programming and implementation on advancing the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Malabo agenda, strategic multi-stakeholder engagement and other related activities/initiatives such as the Africa Fertiliser and Soil Health Nexus. Prior to that, she worked with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Secretariat, as Food and Nutrition Security Expert in Gaborone, Botswana. She holds various Policy Certificates on Food and Nutrition Security; an MSc in International Fisheries Management from the University of Tromso, in Norway and a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Economics and Statistics.
