Maria Theresa Mkenda is an Investment Officer in the AFFM Secretariat. She has more than 25 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, credit risk management, portfolio risk management, trade finance and structured commodity finance transactions and other related financial advisory consultancies. Prior to joining the AFFM, she worked with Trade and Development Bank, the African Development Bank, National Commercial Bank of Africa, KCB group, Standard Bank, and Citigroup. Maria holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi Kenya.
