NPK Blending Plant Now Fully Operational in Togo

The NutriSource Togo plant, owned by FertiStream DMCC, is a modern blending facility now fully operational at the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) in Togo. The state-of-the-art fertilizer blending plant was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Togo, Mme Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé, during a ceremony attended by over 100 guests, including senior government officials, industry partners, and clients.

Located near Lomé, the Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) is a modern Special Economic Zone developed in partnership with the Government of Togo, designed to attract investment, strengthen local production, and enhance regional trade The NutriSource Togo plant, equipped with advanced automation technology from EMT, produces high-quality fertilizer blends tailored to the country’s agricultural needs.

"This is the only modern, fully automated blending unit in Togo, capable of producing 200,000 tons of NPKs annually," said Aleksei Katorov, CEO of the Nutrisource Togo Plant. "It offers flexibility in fertilizer formulas, creating greater opportunities for both domestic and export-oriented distributors."

The plant also offers a storage capacity of 60,000 tonnes and produces customized NPK formulas based on national soil mapping and government recommendations to support efficient and targeted nutrient delivery to farmers.

In addition to technological innovation, FertiStream has committed to supporting the local economy by prioritizing the procurement of raw materials and packaging from Togolese suppliers.
