Meet The Team

Iruansi Itoandon is the Portfolio Manager of PFI-NPK Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) managed by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), where he oversees the day to day implementation of the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative (PFI); a particular intervention of the Federal Government of Nigeria in the Agricultural Sector aimed at catalyzing the fertilizer industry by sourcing relevant raw materials for facilitating domestic production and sales of NPK fertilizer and other appropriate variants.

Before his role at NSIA, Iruansi worked as the Commercial Manager of AFEX Commodities Exchange Limited (AFEX), where he managed the operations of the demand and supply side of the Exchange, working to drive revenue and growth opportunities for the company. Iruansi had previously worked as a Key Accounts Manager at Syngenta Nigeria Limited, where he managed partnerships market development activities and drove farmer-centric interventions across Nigeria.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Atlantic International University, Honolulu, a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, which followed his first degree in Agriculture (Plant Breeding and Seed Technology) from the same university. Iruansi has shown an incredible commitment to continuous learning, supplementing his university qualifications with numerous additional programs in line with his career growth. He is an Oracle Certified Professional, Certified Project Manager. He has an Advanced Certificate in Value Chain Development from Bern University of Applied Science, Switzerland, among the certifications and training in development finance.
